Brief past: Your brother, Izaya, was commissioned by Head Captain Yamamoto to be a Substitute Soul Reaper. After your brother died, you wanted to become just like him, so you did. You found Kisuke Urahara and asked him to train you, and after your training was complete, you headed to the Soul Society to meet up with Captain Ukitake.

How you met: You had just gotten back from the Soul Society and your brief "exam" to test your skills there. You were enjoying your time back by relaxing and taking in your new found power, when you hear a Hollow's howl sound through Karakura. You quickly use your combat pass to turn into a Soul Reaper and head straight to where you can feel the Hollow's spiritual pressure--and someone elses. When you get to the Hollow, you see that another Soul Reaper has beaten you to it and the Hollow dissipate. He is tall and muscular with bright orange hair and a huge Zanpaktou! He's kind of cute... you think to yourself. But after the thought crosses your mind, you realize that you're slightly offended. Who was this guy, and where the hell did he come from? And that Hollow was supposed to be your job. So finally, you call out: "Hey, who are you? And just a little by the way, you stole my job..." The man looks at you, confused. "I could ask you the same question. Who are you?" he calls back. "I'm Substitute Soul Reaper Raimei Shimizu. Your turn." you snap. He just stares at you, and before he can utter another word, a petite, black haired Soul Reaper appears behind him. "Who's this?" the girl comments. He quickly tells her--her name is apparently Rukia--and she looks at you with the same expression that the man did before. "Substitute Soul Reaper? Since when are their two? I'm Ichigo Kurosaki, Substitute Soul Reaper as well." he says. You just stare at Ichigo, and then think back. You barely recall Kisuke telling you that you wouldn't be the only substitute, but weren't really paying attention at the time. You were too busy with trying to get to the Soul Society. "Huh..." you say. They just look at you. "Now I remember Kisuke telling me about you. Sorry, I forgot. Well, I'll leave you alone then." And with that, you turn away. "Wait!" Ichigo calls after you. "Yeah?" you say. "Meet me at Urahara's shop later today. I want to know what's going on." "Er, alright? See you there." After saying so, you leave to go back to your apartment and continue your relaxing. *Time skip* You met up with Ichigo at Urhara's and talk all night about where you both came from, how you both became Soul Reapers and how you two could work together. After that night, you both hung out a lot. You met his crazy father and family, as well as his friends Uryu, Chad (as Ichigo called him), Orihime and Rukia, who was the sister of Captain Kuchiki.

In the future: You and Ichigo have known each other for five years, and have been dating for three. You both just finished battling an Espada, and after wounding it enough that it had to return to Hueco Mundo, you and Ichigo go back to his house. "IIIIIIIICHIIIIIGOOOOOO!" you hear Isshin, Ichigo's father, scream from atop you both. Ichigo expertly avoids his crazy parent and grabs your hand to pull you away from him. "Come on, Raimei." he says. "Aww! Wait, Ichigo! Where are you taking my future daughter-in-law?" Isshin runs after you. He grabs hold of your wrist, turns you around, and hugs you while he cries into your shoulder. "These past few years have been amazing! I have another daughter!" You pat his back and say "It's alright, Mr. Kurosaki... Just, don't cry. Please?" You're so confused. "C'mon Raimei! I told you to call me dad!" he cries harder. "Alright, alright! Dad, can you please get off me now?" you ask. Isshin cries even harder, so you look to Ichigo for help. Ichigo kicks his father in the head, pulls you to him, and you walk into the house and up to his room. You both sit down and just start talking. After a while, he says "Raimei, can I ask you something?" "Of course," you say. "Anything." "Alright, I know that we have our hands full with everything involving Hollows and the Soul Society, but..." "What is it?" "W-Would you do the honor of marrying me?" he stuttered and pulled out a small velvet box with a simple, but beautiful ring in it. At first, you just stare in awe. You've been waiting for this day since you were a child, because what little girl doesn't dream of her engagement, but you're so shocked. Finally you say "Yes. Yes, I'll marry you!" Ignoring the ring for now, you jump into his arms and kiss him passionately. He hugs you tightly and kisses you back. "I love you, Raimei." he says. "I love you, too..." you say back.
